Building intelligent experiences for the real world.
We build 3D scanning and measurement apps for iPhone and iPad. Our flagship app turns your device into an AR tape measure and LiDAR room scanner. Next, we're adding Claude so every scan comes out complete and every measurement comes with a clear explanation.

3D Lidar Scanner: Room Measure
AR tape measure and floor plans. It turns an iPhone or iPad into a precise AR measuring tool and a LiDAR room scanner, with exports that go straight into CAD, 3D, and print workflows.

Three AI features, in the order we're building them
Each feature gives Claude one clear job. The device measures. Claude explains, guides, and writes.
-
Priority 1 In development
Intelligent Scan Quality Detection
Finds the parts of a room scan that are missing or unreliable, then tells the user in plain words how to fix them before they leave the room.
ARKit · Geometry analysis · Claude -
Priority 2 Coming soon
AI Room Understanding
Recognises what a room is and what's in it, so users can ask practical questions about their space.
RoomPlan · Claude vision -
Priority 3 Coming soon
AI Measurement Reports
Turns a finished scan into a written report a client, landlord, or contractor can read without opening a 3D model.
RoomPlan · Claude API
Every distance, area, and volume comes from ARKit and RoomPlan on the device, using deterministic geometry. Claude receives those results as structured data and turns them into instructions and explanations people can act on. If the geometry and the text ever disagree, the geometry wins.
Intelligent Scan Quality Detection
Most bad floor plans come from a scan that looked finished but wasn't: a corner never captured, a glass door the sensor couldn't read, a wall measured from one side only. Today users find out later, at home or on site. This feature catches it while they're still standing in the room.
- On device
Scan
The user scans the room. ARKit builds a mesh and RoomPlan detects walls, doors, windows, and furniture.
- On device
Geometry check
Our analysis looks for coverage gaps, low-confidence surfaces, and measurements that don't agree with each other.
- Claude
Explain the fix
The findings go to Claude as structured data. Claude writes short, ordered steps in the user's language.
- On device
Guided rescan
The app highlights each problem area in AR, and the user rescans only those spots.
- On device
Verified plan
The geometry check runs again. The plan is marked complete only when every issue is resolved.
Never walk out of a room with an incomplete scan.
Scan Quality Detection checks your scan before you leave and tells you exactly what to fix. No missing corners, no guessed walls, and no trips back to measure again.
Every corner, captured
Spots you missed, like the top of a tall wall or the corner behind the sofa, are found for you and highlighted in AR.
Glass and mirrors, handled
When a glass door, a mirror, or dim light confuses the sensor, the app shows you how to scan it again.
Numbers that add up
If opposite walls disagree or the room outline doesn't close, you'll know before you send the plan to anyone.
No forgotten doors or windows
Openings the sensor picked up but didn't label are flagged, so your floor plan shows every way in and out.
Clear steps, in plain words.
No error codes and no 3D jargon. When something needs another pass, you get a short list of what to do, where to stand, and why, in your own language.
- Fixes are listed in the order that matters most
- Each step points you to the exact spot in AR
- Rescan only what's missing, not the whole room
- 1Walk to the glass door and scan it slowly from about one metre away. The sensor couldn't read the glass clearly.
- 2Point the camera up at the top-right corner near the window.Part of the ceiling wasn't captured.
- 3Rescan the wall facing the sofa from the other side of the room. Its length doesn't match the opposite wall.
Your scan, explained. Your report, written.
Once every scan comes out complete, the next step is making it useful. These two features turn measurements into answers and paperwork into a single tap.
Ask your room anything.
Stop guessing whether the new sofa fits or how the layout will work. Point your phone, scan, and ask in your own words. The app answers with your room's real dimensions.
- Knows what it's looking at. Recognises the room type and the furniture in it.
- Describes your space clearly. Get a plain-language overview of the layout, ready to share.
- Answers with real numbers. Every answer is based on what your device measured.
From scan to client-ready report in one tap.
Skip the hour of typing up measurements. Whether it's for a client, a landlord, or a contractor, get a clear written report they can read without opening a 3D model.
- Every key dimension, organised. A room-by-room summary with areas, wall lengths, and openings.
- Nothing slips through. Anything the scan flagged for checking is called out.
- In your reader's language. Write the report in the language your client speaks and export it to PDF.

How we're building the AI features
Structured data, not camera feeds
Scan quality checks send Claude a short list of findings and dimensions. Video and raw camera frames stay on the device.
Photos only when you ask
Room Understanding sends a photo only when the user taps to use it.
Keys stay on our server
Requests go through our own server, so no API key is ever stored in the app.
The app works without AI
Measuring, scanning, and exporting keep working without the AI features, and users can turn them off.
Read our current privacy policy and terms of use.
Common questions
Which devices can scan rooms?
Room scanning uses Apple RoomPlan, which needs a LiDAR sensor: iPhone 12 Pro and later Pro models, and iPad Pro (2020 and later). The App Store listing shows the full list of compatible devices.
Is the app free?
Yes. Measuring and room scanning are free. Pro adds client-ready PDF reports and furniture layout, as a monthly or annual subscription with a 7-day free trial, or a one-time lifetime unlock.
How accurate are the measurements?
Measurements are estimates from the device's sensors. Accuracy depends on the device, lighting, and surfaces. For anything you're buying or building, confirm critical dimensions with a physical tape measure.
Which file formats can I export?
3D: USDZ, glTF, STL, and DAE. 2D: PDF, SVG, and PNG. CAD and data: DXF and CSV.
Will the AI change my measurements?
No. All measurements come from the device. Claude only explains results, suggests what to rescan, and writes summaries using the measured figures.
When will the AI features be available?
Scan Quality Detection is in development and comes first. Room Understanding and Measurement Reports follow. Email us to hear when testing opens.
